Dear APREA Members,
As we welcome 2025, a milestone year marking the 20th anniversary of APREA, we take a moment to reflect on how far we have come and the incredible journey that has shaped our organisation and the real assets industry in the Asia Pacific region. Over the past two decades, APREA has evolved into a leading industry body in the region, connecting investors and advancing the sustainable growth and development of the real assets sector.
The industry itself has transformed profoundly during this time. What was once defined by traditional real estate models has now evolved into a dynamic and diverse ecosystem encompassing sectors such as data centers, renewable energy infrastructure, life sciences, and others. We have seen groundbreaking innovations and a deeper integration of ESG into the fabric of investment and development. APREA has been privileged to stand at the forefront of these changes, guiding our members through evolving landscapes with knowledge, connections, and actionable insights.
2025 holds brighter prospects for the real assets industry. The challenges of recent years have made us more resilient and future-ready. With the stabilisation of interest rates, robust infrastructure pipelines, and continued urbanisation across the Asia Pacific, the foundation for growth is stronger than ever. Key markets including India, Japan, and Southeast Asia are attracting growing interest from global investors, while opportunities in data centers, living sectors, ESG-driven investments, and digital infrastructure continue to expand.
As we celebrate APREA’s 20th year, we remain focused in our commitment to empowering our members to seize the massive opportunities in the region. Our anniversary is not just a celebration of our legacy but also a renewal of our mission to lead, innovate, and inspire. Through our wide range of initiatives from conferences and advocacy to workshops and thought leadership, we aim to equip you with the tools needed to navigate this transformative era.
Looking ahead, we will continue driving progress in the industry by advocating for REITs, advancing sustainability, and promoting cross-border investments. APREA’s role as a bridge between markets and a platform for connections has never been more critical.

APREA設立20周年となる2025年を迎えるにあたり、私たちの組織とアジア太平洋地域のリアルアセット業界を形作ってきた素晴らしい旅路を改めて思い起こします。この20年間で、APREAは地域を代表する業界団体へと成長し、投資家をつなぎ、リアルアセット業界の持続可能な成長と発展を推進してまいりました。この20年間に、業界自体も大きく変化を遂げました。伝統的な不動産に基づいていた業界は、今やデータセンター、再生可能エネルギーインフラ、ライフサイエンスなどの多様でダイナミックなエコシステムへと進化しています。画期的なイノベーションが見られるとともに、ESGが投資と開発の根幹に深く組み込まれるようになりました。APREAはこれら変化の最前線に立ち、進化する市場環境の中で会員の皆様に知識、つながり、そして実践的なインサイトを提供してきたことを誇りに思います。
